UGUIDE Group Dog Owner Policy

"If a lodge space/area is posted "no dogs allowed" and someone in the hunting group allows a dog to enter that space, then the hunting group will not be invited back to hunt at any UGUIDE Pheasant Camp in the future."

The following is the reasoning for the dog policy:

  • Dogs are animals and animals do damage to living space
  • From past experience, lodge owners that used allow dogs in the human space have moved away from that because of bad experiences.
  • We want to develop the most ideal human space.
  • Some guests are allergic to animals and therefore prefer not to lodge where animals are allowed.
  • Some guests prefer to not have animals in their human space for a more enjoyable experience.
  • Lodge owners generally provide some nice accommodations for animals in their own space.
  • Even though you may have a "house dog" that lodge is not that dogs house. Animals are very territorial.

Note: Some lodge allow dogs in their living areas and as such will not have it posted "no dogs allowed. Some also require damage deposits in advance.
