Crop harvest remains sluggish so some of these late season hunts could be the best of the year figuring in that Game and Fish has bird numbers up 76% across the state for 2014.

You may also be interested to know that, in South Dakota, if you buy your non-resident small game license on or after Dec. 15th you get two 5-days periods to use.  You can use one this year (Dec. 15th or later) and one the next year (2016 anytime).
